2. Accessibility Service API Usage (CRITICAL) Social Media Detoxer strictly requires the use of the Android Accessibility Service API to function.

• Why we use it: We use this service solely to detect when you attempt to open distracting social media applications (such as Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit) or visit their websites via a browser while a detox session is active.
• What we do NOT do: We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data, typing data, passwords, or screen content. The scanning process happens locally on your device in real-time and is immediately discarded. No data ever leaves your device.

3. Data Collection and Storage We do not collect or store any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) on external servers. All of your settings, custom blocklists, and detox history are saved locally on your device’s internal storage using standard Android preferences.

4. Third-Party Services & Payments Our app offers a premium “Emergency Exit” feature. Payments for this feature are securely processed by a third-party payment provider (LemonSqueezy). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card details or billing information. Please review LemonSqueezy’s privacy policy for more information on how they handle your payment data.
